Tortellini and sparkling wine: a super combination! Join us to discover Custoza and Borghetto, two pretty little villages south-west of Verona. This area is not so touristy, so this is the perfect tour if you want to spend a day in a relaxed atmosphere, immersed in the green of these hilly vineyards.
Firstly, we’ll reach Custoza, where you’ll visit a local winery and taste their wines. The most famous wine here is Custoza, a white blend of local grapes; but you’ll taste also some red and sparkling wines!
Then we’ll reach Valeggio sul Mincio, a little town with a beautiful medieval castle, and very famous for its typical tortellini. We’ll visit, if possible, a shop where tortellini are produced since many generations: the staff will show you how tortellini are prepared and tell you some details about the production (15 min. approximately).
After this show cooking you’ll probably be hungry… so we’ll reach a local restaurant in the stunning hamlet of Borghetto, with its ancient bridge. The many charming corners of this small village will amaze you and become the perfect spot for some great shots! In Borghetto you’re going to have a complete traditional Italian lunch (starters, first and second course, dessert) based on seasonal and local food such as tortellini and, of course, paired with more great wine!
